a) Google Business Profile Data:

When we receive notifications for reviews left on business profiles owned and operated by The Insurance Store, we access information via the Google Business Profile API. The data we collect includes:

  • Reviewer Information: The name and profile photo URL of the Google user who left the review, as provided by Google.
  • Metadata: The creation and update times of the review.

We use this information solely to display the review within Pulse and to allow our employees to post a reply directly to Google.

b) RingCentral Communication Data:

For text message conversations managed through our paid subscription with RingCentral, we access information via the RingCentral API. The data we collect includes:

  • Conversation Content: The text of messages sent and received between our employees and customers.
  • Contact Information: The phone numbers of the parties involved in the conversation.
  • Metadata: The timestamps for when messages are sent and received.

3. How We Use Your Information

The data collected is used exclusively for internal business purposes of The Insurance Store, including:

  • To Provide and Improve Pulse: We use the data to power the features of the Pulse platform, such as displaying reviews and conversations in a unified dashboard.
  • Customer Service: To allow our team to respond to customer reviews and text message inquiries in a timely and organized manner.
  • Internal Training and Quality Assurance: To review customer interactions for the purpose of improving our service quality and training our employees.
  • Analytics: To analyze general trends in customer feedback and communication patterns. All analytics are for internal use only and do not involve sharing personally identifiable information.

4. Data Storage and Security

All collected data, including information from Google and RingCentral, is stored securely in our database. We implement industry-standard technical and administrative security measures to protect this information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Pulse is an internal tool. We do not sell, rent, or share any personally identifiable information collected through the platform with outside third parties for marketing or any other purpose. Access to this data is strictly limited to authorized employees of The Insurance Store who require it to perform their job functions.
